Clean with a soft, non-abrasive cloth dampened with warm water. Mild diluted dish soap may be used if needed. Dry thoroughly. Do not use cleaning chemicals or disinfectants as they may damage the finish.
Antique Brass
A traditional patina for solid brass hardware with the warm, uncomplicated tone that gives an enhanced color to this antiqued then relieved finish. The final step is a protective lacquer. This finish is suited to accenting design elements that call for a three-dimensional appearance.
Burnished Antique Brass
This finish gives solid brass hardware the desirable, time-worn patina of authentic antiques. The brass is gently rubbed to give it a vintage look which boosts the warm glow of the finish and adds depth. The brass is then slightly antiqued and relieved by hand rubbing. The final step of applying a Decorative Hardware Wax brings out additional patina and protects the finish while allowing it to age naturally over time.
Polished Brass
This traditional finish has defined the quality of brass hardware for centuries. It begins with solid brass hardware that is polished and then buffed multiple times to achieve a high shine. The final step for PB is a protective gloss lacquer to further enhance the sheen and protect the brass over time.
Polished Chrome
The solid brass or bronze hardware is polished and buffed to a high shine. Next, it is triple plated with copper, nickel, and trivalent chrome. Our trivalent chrome is the safest and most environmentally friendly chrome process available. It has a slightly cool blue/gray tone and needs no additional protective coating.
Polished Copper
The solid brass or bronze piece is polish buffed to a mirror finish then copper plated and polish buffed for a second time. A protective wax is applied resulting in a living finish with individuality and warm, mellow tones that will continue to age gracefully. Copper is known to contain antimicrobial properties and is becoming more popular for certain applications where more than just a beautiful finish is desired.
Polished Nickel
The solid brass or bronze hardware is polished and buffed. It is copper plated and then bright nickel plated. It is buffed again to achieve a brilliant shine. Nickel has a slightly warm tone and does not tarnish so no protective coating is necessary.
Polished Silver
Polished Silver is the whitest and most reflective finish available. The solid brass or bronze hardware is polished buffed. It is copper plated and then plated with pure silver. It is color buffed to a mirror shine and hand waxed for protection. Waxed finishes are living finishes and as such will naturally age over time.
Satin Brass
This solid brass hardware is satined to provide a brushed look and a protective clear lacquer is applied to protect its warmth over time
Satin Nickel
The solid brass or bronze piece is satined, then copper plated and dull nickel plated. The dull nickel plating process is unique compared to other Satin Nickel processes and gives our hardware a superior depth and luster. The degree of texture and sheen varies in the industry so we encourage you to see our sample.
Unlacquered Brass
This traditional finish has defined the quality of brass hardware for centuries. It begins with solid brass hardware that is polished and then buffed multiple times to achieve a high shine. Unlacquered version will quickly develop a natural patina as it is exposed to use and weather.
Oil Rubbed Bronze
The solid brass or bronze hardware is satined and colored using a double dip antiquing process to give a rich gray-brown tone. A gentle polishing and coat of protective flat lacquer gives a subtle weathered appearance.
Weathered Bronze
The solid brass or bronze hardware is weathered, antiqued by hand, and minimally highlighted on a buffing wheel. This is followed by a coat of protective flat lacquer. The Weathered Bronze finish is a distressed variation of the popular Oil Rubbed Bronze finish.
