Natural Brass is a living finish that develops as the products age. We do not add a protective coating. Touch, climate and exposure to the elements will continue to change the color, luster and texture of brass and give it a unique “patina” over time.

Bronze finish is produced with a dipping process. It is an ancient process which darkens the brass by oxidizing it, so it looks like Brownish Bronze. 

Satin Nickel is the type of plating or finish that is done on brass. We get the Satin nickel by using electrolysis technique.

Carbon Black finish is produced with a dipping process. It is an ancient process which darkens  the brass by oxidizing it, so it looks like Black finish.


CARE
Never clean hardware with harsh chemicals. Use a soft cloth dampened with warm water. A small amount of mild dish soap can be added to the solution for any grime. Dry thoroughly after cleaning.

We generally recommend choosing a lever if ease of use is a top priority, and a knob if you want a classic look or need to keep doors closed to small children and pets. A lever opens with a push of the hand or elbow, which makes it easier for older adults, people with limited grip strength, and anyone carrying something. A knob requires a firm grip and a turn of the wrist, which can be more desirable if wandering toddlers or escaping pets is a concern. Knobs also offer a clean, classic look that nicely compliments traditional and transitional homes.
