Refund policy

We take pride in the quality of our products. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Due to the custom nature of our products, some items are not returnable or may be subject to a restocking fee. Please fully review the product specifications to ensure your hardware will work for your project before placing your order. Each item will have its return policy listed on its product page. If a product is subject to a restocking fee, it will be stated in the description section. Most manufacturers have a restocking fee of 20-25%. Returns of large quantities may also be subject to a restocking fee. If you have questions about a product's returnability or potential restocking fees, please contact us.

RETURNABLE PRODUCTS

Products that are returnable must be returned within 30 days in new, resalable condition and include the original, undamaged packaging. If you need to open the packaging, please do so carefully.

NON-RETURNABLE PRODUCTS

In general, the following items are not returnable:

  • Made-to-order products.
  • Products that have been damaged or show signs of installation.
  • Products that have been damaged due to poor return packaging.
  • Merchandise missing parts.
  • Products shipped from overseas.

Once returned merchandise is received back to our warehouse, it becomes our property. Non-returnable items are given a second life through responsible recycling or donation whenever possible.


STARTING A RETURN OR EXCHANGE

To start a return, just use the link below. Once your return is approved, you’ll be asked to send the merchandise back to us.

  • If you added Checkout+ at checkout: You’ll get a prepaid return label right through our portal—no extra cost to you. Applicable manufacturer restocking fees will still apply.

  • If you didn’t choose Checkout+: You’ll still be able to request a label through our portal, but the return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. (Checkout+ can only be added during checkout and can’t be purchased afterward.) You’re also welcome to use your own shipping method if preferred.

  • Exchanges: To submit an exchange, please log in to our portal and select the items you'd like to exchange. If the new item is more expensive than the item being returned, you will be emailed an invoice to pay the difference once we receive the original item.

You are responsible for the merchandise until it is delivered to us, so please package it carefully to avoid damage in transit. If possible, pack your return in its original shipping box or a plain, sturdy cardboard box. Add packing material to protect the merchandise and securely seal the box with tape. Products that have been damaged during shipping due to poor packaging will not be eligible for a refund. Make sure any previous labels are covered or removed. If you'd like to insure your return, you'll need to purchase and use your own shipping label through your preferred carrier.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY ERRORS
Review the contents of your shipment as soon as you receive it. Any errors or damaged items must be reported to us within 48 hours after you receive your order. Your replacement will be prioritized and we will work to resolve the error as soon as we can. We do not recommend scheduling your installer until hardware is on hand and confirmed to be correct. Replacements will be shipped via the same shipping speed as the original order.
REFUNDS

Please allow 7 days for your return to arrive to us. We will process your return within 5 business days of receiving it. You will receive an email confirmation once your return has been processed. Returns will be refunded to the original form of payment. After we issue your refund, your financial institution may take up to 7 days to credit you.
